Inserting a hyperlink into an email (XP)

I have recently upgraded to Office XP; I am unable to
insert a hyperlink into an email.

I have tried creating the link in Word and pasting it into
my email - this only pastes the file path. I have also
tried locating the Insert Hyperlink command on the
toolbar, but am unable to find the command.

How do I get this functionality in Outlook XP?
 
Before creating the message, set Word as your email editor -- Tools |
Options | Mail Format. Then you'll be able to use Word's Insert Hyperlink
command.
