Insert Picture into Protected Worksheet

Have created a worksheet which will be used and updated by multiple
employees. Worksheet contains many cells with complicated formulas,
hence need to protect these cells, while leaving others unprotected.
One of the employees will need to insert a picture into the worksheet,
but excel does not allow this once the sheet has been protected. Is
there any way around this? Thanks

I just inserted a .jpg into a protected sheet using xl2002.

I protected the sheet, but allowed the users to edit objects.
(It's at the bottom of the Tools|protect|protect sheet dialog in xl2002. In
earlier versions, I believe that it's a checkbox at the top of the dialog--but I
may be remembering incorrectly.)

Then I did Insert|Object|From File.
and it was inserted ok.

But I couldn't do Insert|Picture.

Since only one person has to do this, maybe it's time for a training session.
