Insert movie file into a slide

When I try to insert a movie file (*.mov) into a slide, I
get the message 'powerpoint couldn't insert a movie from
the selected file. Either the file is non-standard, or
QuickTime is not installed properly'.
I've installed the latest version of QuickTime (6.3) but
it still will not work.
The movie file plays Ok when opened in QuickTime.

The short answer is that PP doesn't support QT recent
versions. I think it only supports up to version 2 or 3.
You can Insert Object then select your QT movie. The QT
player will be called to display your file.
