Insert File (Insert as Text) Into Contacts

I'm using O2003. I have a number of files I always insert into my
contact's notes. By default, the Insert button on the "Insert File"
dialog defaults to inserting the file. Is there a way to change this
button to default to "Insert as text"

I don't believe there is any way to change the default values of the
dialogue boxes.
