Insert Comment default

Hi GP!

Try:

Tools > Options > General
Change the User Name

This doesn't impact upon previous comments.

I deleted what was there (my name), and now the default is "Administrator." I don't want anything. By the way, the default is bold. I don't want bold. Any further enlightment muchly appreciated.
 
Hi GP!

You can type in something in replacement of the user name such as
Explanation.
You could type in a single space but that leaves a _:

You can change the format of the lead in text as per normal

But without going into a VBA approach, I think that's the limit.

Text size and font for comments generally are changed using:

Start > Control Panel > Display > Appearance

You need to adjust the settings for the Tooltip.
But note that these have wider impacts than just on Excel comments.
