Insert a row

Greetings,

I need help to insert a blank row after a range of dates. In column A, I
have various dates and numerical data in columns B to G. The exercise is to
sort based on column A and when there is a date change, insert a blank row
and total the values in B to G. These totals to be shown in the inserted
row.

Hi Jim

Sort yourself. Excel does all the rest when you click her Data > Subtotals menu and follow
its helpful wizard.
