There is a plug hole in the back of my computer that
says "input". iIt is next to where the speaker plugs are
inserted. I am wondering if I can put a cable from my old
Lp record player into that an record my Lp's on CD. Could
anyone tell me? Thanks!

You will probably need a small amplifier to sit between
the turntable and the PC. Remember, your turntable needed
to plug into the back of an amp if it was a stand-alone
type. Depends on what type of "table" you've got. If it's
part of a "integrated System" bookshelf type system, try
using the headphone out line. Or Radio Shack has some
small amps you might try.

You'll need a pre-amp.
