Input Message Question

I have a worksheet that has many cells with an input
message as in Data->Validation->Input Message. I mean
many, many cells. They keep getting in the way of the
mouse. I can move them or turn them off, no problem, but
I was wondering if there is a way to make them "run away"
from the mouse, or stay at least one or two rows and
columns away from the cell I'm working on. Strange
question, I know, but maybe someone knows something.
Thanks!
Scott

One way is to drag the message to another spot. This will then position
every data val message to that spot.
(Unfortunately this will revert back to default once you close and reopen
the wkbk.) Rob

Don't I know. Also my work area is bigger than the
screen, so when I scroll, it stay in the same spot on the
screen, but changes relative to the excel window.
It would be nice if it remembered the position relative
to the cell that's selected.

How about this as an alternive: Do you think it's
possible to choose either a cell, merged cell, or text
box and fiddle with it so that it will display what would
have normally been in the input message of the currently
selected cell? That would work for me.
Thanks!

Don't know about that Scott. Maybe someone else can help with that but I
can't see how that would help as they would scroll out of view if you scroll
the window. (Unless of course, you were using freeze panes and had it in
the area above the freeze. In which case just dragging the message box to
that area would do the same thing???)
