I just installed InoculateIT on my computer. My husband has it on his
business computer. I just installed it and I have it monitoring both
incoming and outgoing files. Outside of that - I haven't a clue how to work
it. Norton is so user friendly, and that is what I have always used. But
from being on these posts, I understand Norton is a hog and isn't the best.
InoculateIT seems to be for a large business, not just a single home
computer like mine.
Does anyone know about this software and how to use it on a home computer.
I set it up just basic like, but I don't know if it is doing anything or
not. Norton you could tell, but this one you can't - at least I can't find
where you can.
Thanks.

You need to tell hubby that InoculateIT is obsolete and no
longer supported.

"Please be advised that all support in connection with the
InoculateIT Personal Edition (IPE) program has now been
discontinued. If you are still a user of InoculateIT Personal Edition,
you will need to select a new Antivirus solution, as the IPE signature
files will no longer be up to date."

Q. "I understand Norton is a hog and isn't the best".

A. Not true! I've been using Norton for over 5 years
and heartily recommend it! Norton AntiVirus 2005
works extremely well with Windows XP!

The version I am using is eTrust Inoculateit Virus Protection. If this is
no good anymore - what one is?
