Hi, Danny.

As the name suggests, ntoskrnl.exe is the kernel for the NT operating
system. In other words, this file is at the very heart of Win2K. Without
this file, Win2K can't run at all.

Now, I'll let someone else handle the rest of your question. I'm one guy
with one computer and no net but the Internet. I know nothing of networks
or Sygate.
