for christs sake. Ive run 3 virus scans in safe mode, and this virus is still here!

i reported the error to microsoft a couple of days ago, ran their solution (windows live beta), then ran norton in safe mode, and then ran avast anti virus in safe mode.

i crashed just now and reported the error and it is the same goddamned virus

it seems to only happen when i am doing something in tensive like loading a game.

hers the virus. any help now appreciated.

Might be worth formatting to get rid of this nastie

and another there is an administrator account that has just appeared on the welcome screen. is that supposed to happen in safe mode or is that another virus effect? :/

Yeah, that happens in Safe Mode - don't worry
