infected by sasser worm

i m using winxp pro with sp2. i try to remove sasser worm using removal tool but couldn't find it. try to update patch for it but giving me an error saying that patch version older than sp2. wat can i do? the sp2 i just downloaded from internet last month and installed.

The Sasser patch will not install because SP 2 already protects for
Sasser.
If you have SP 2, you did not get Sasser while SP 2 was installed.
You may have something else.
