Hi,
I recently chose to use Incredimail and purchased their
Premium Service.
I have no problems sending mail.
I have no problem receiving mail as long as it is text.
If somone sends me an attachment such as a JPEG, TIFF,
ect. I can't open it. It alsways defaults to Windows media
and tries to open it as a movie.
This also happens with forwarded letters. If I'm send a
letter directly, I can open it but if someone sends me a
letter that has been forwarded, Windows Media tries to
open it.
I've gone through the settings various times and can't
find anything that will change the default.
I contacted Incredimail and they said it was a Microsoft
problem.
I also have Windows Outlook 2000 (not express) and have no
problems opening any attachments no matter what they are.
Can anyone help explain what I need to do to open
attachments using Incredimail?
Thanks,
Ray

Why are you posting this here?! Is Incredimail a MS product? No. Is this a
support group for Incredimail? No. You may be running it under XP, but that
doesn't mean you can request support for it here. This group is for issues
with the Windows XP operating system, not 3rd-party applications you may
have running thereunder. Please contact Incredimail technical support (if
such exists) for all assistance.
