Increasing the size of a drop down list

Using cell validation I have selected certain cells where
data can only be selected from a list.

When there is a long list the drop down window list seems
very small which makes searching for the correct
information a bit difficult.

Is there any way I can increase the size of the drop down
list 'window' therefore increasing the amount of visible
data at any one time or is the size of the drop down list
fixed?

I would be very grateful of some feedback,
