incorrect dates on emails

I sent out an email today on OUtlook 2002 and I noted the date was April 24,
2005 instead of March 24. Also I received an email with the same incorrect
date. How can I correct OUtlook to record the correct date on emails? This
problem just started today.

Obviously this will mess up my recordkeeping.

Outlook uses your computer's date settings.
 
Thanks. I just re-booted my pc and noted that the date came up wrong--April
24!!! I don't know how THAT happened, but I have corrected the date (we've
had some IT folks in here finagling with the network). The next email I sent
did have today's date.
