Incoming Mail Audible Alert . . . .

I just installed Outlook 2000 on an IBM Netvista S42 running Windows 2003
Server. Every thing appears to have installed fine, but whenever new mail
arrives the internal on-board speaker gives a loud beep. Is there any way to
turn this off?

Control panel, sounds, new mail notification. Set it to None.
