Incoming Calls Announced OnScreen

Hello - When my sister is using dialup internet and
recieves an incoming call, a window pops up and gives
called ID and a choice to answer or continue. How do I
enabale this feature?
Is it an XP feature or elsewhere?
My sister uses XP Professional 5.1 and I am using XP Home

I believe you need to obtain a seperate program to do that. You also need
Caller ID enabled on your phone line.
 
It's not a separate program. It's a native setting somewhere. I'd like to
know where it is too because I want to disable it, since *70 doesn't do it.

I don't use a dialup but my Dell laptop has a feature called "Modem-On-Hold"

It's a function of the modem, and you need to have appropriate services from
your phone company.
