Hi, any one know if a component contains sleep.exe or something similiar?

Thanks!

Greg

Greg Chu The Small,

There is certainly no sleep.exe file in the XPe repository.
The easiest way for you would be in compiling a simple app that calls to
Sleep() API.

KM

PS. Let me know if you cannot build the app. I'll post it on
www.xpefiles.com.

Greg,

just curious to know.. Are you looking for some kind of hibernation
stuff or Process Sleep ?

Kesavan

Hi Kesavan,

Good observation, that would make some sense :-)

Hmmm. I guess having "fba -hibernate" or "xpepm -hibernate" or etc. one wouldn't need a separate "sleep" tool, would he?

Anyway.. the last word should be from the thread initiator :-)

I suppose OP refers to sleep.exe tool from Windows Resource Kit. It is used
in batch files to pause script execution.

KM said it :) . Well if it is Hibernation then he dont need the
concept of sleep.exe and if he dont know about the sleep.exe which we
normally use in our batch script then that should be the one he is
looking for.

KM , I guess the thread initiator has gone to sleep :)

Sorry, for late reply.

I was asking about sleep.exe in the resource kit.
I just manually copied over the image windows\system32 after FBA.

More professional way would be adding additional file in the TD right?

Thanks!

Greg
