"Include this account when synchronising" missing from OL2003?

I recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003, and am
hugely impressed by the cosmetic and performance
improvements the new version offers.

What I can't find is the 'include this account when
receiving mail or synchronising' checkbox, which used to
be an option in the general tab of the internet mail
account properties box. I used this extensively, because
my boss frequently asks me to check his email while he is
away from base, but I don't really want to be routinely
downloading his mail. Checking the old checkbox used to
give me a quick way of accessing his mail without having
to remove the account and delete all of the information in
it. Which meant that if he wanted me to review his mail at
short notice I didn't need to hunt for server locations
and passwords.

Is there any other way of replicating this function, or
need I delete the account every time I wish to remove it
from the cycle and laboriously enter all of the data again
if he wants me to do a dounload?

Take a look at the Send/Receive settings here: Tools > Send/Receive >
Send/Receive Settings > Define Send/Receive Groups

Wow, Vince, that's great, with a lot more functionality. I'll look a bit
closer before I ask next time!

Thanks for your response,
Regards,
John
