Inbox is a black hole

When I start up Outlook, it connects to my internet mail account and pulls in
the letters. However, they do not show in inbox. If I watch, I can see them
pop quickly in the Inbox (it starts counting), but then disappears. Clicking
unread mail gives me just a blank window. I have no clue where it's going =/

Do you have a rule defined that is moving them somewhere? Have you
checked your Junk E-mail folder? What version of Outlook?

I don't see them in Junk mail...and no rules show. It's a new installation
of Outlook from Office 2003 small business edition. If it matters, I
imported old mail from OE before using this. I do not see the mail there
either.

Were I you, I'd start with a fresh mail profile and PST.

Look at your folder list and see if you can find any other folders
(including Deleted Items) where they might be going.
