I am running off line and when I do a send/receive all
everything syncs correctly except my in box. In order to
sync my inbox I have to go to Tools-> Send/Receive ->
Microsoft Exchange server only --> Inbox.

Any idea how I get the inbox to sync with the
send/receive all command.

I also have the send recive option sent to sync outook
automatically every 10 minutes. The inbox does not sync
then either.

If you go to tools, send receive settings, define send/receive groups, edit,
is your inbox selected?

What version of Outlook are you using, and what other accounts do you have
set up in this profile?

InBox is checked.

I am running Outlook 2003 sp1, build 11.6359.6360

Do you have other send/receive groups defined?
Does F9 sync your inbox?

I have one send receive group defined.

F9 syncs all checked folders, but not the inbox

Did you get any sync errors in your deleted items folder?
How big is your OST file, and was this an upgrade from an older version of
Outlook?
If you change the send/receive group so that *only* the inbox is specified,
what happens?

yes it was an upgrade to Outlook 2003.
OST file is around 620,000

No sync errors in the deleted items file.

I have check and re-checked all the send/receive file check boxes.

when I just have the inbox checked. there is no difference in the behavior
of the inbox, and as you would expect none of the other file folders sync.

Forgot to ask - are you using cached mode? Might want to consider it as an
alternative - it still accesses an OST file, but without your having to play
with send/receive so much.

Thank you, I will give that a shot. I think you are also telling me,
based on what I have told you, Outlook is behaving as it is supposed to or do
you believe the Send/Receive All comand should be updating my inbox as well.

I have the same problem when syc outlook when using vpn . the outlook 2003
was upgrade from outlook xp . and then the broblem started . i cann't find
the problem...
