The email header contains the correct date time: Wed, 23, Mar 2005 09:59:16
-0800 but the Outlook Inbox shows Wed 3/1/2023 9:59 AM. Note it has replaced
the last two year digits with the date digits and made the date the first of
the month. This only occurs from one sender and we are the only recipient
that has this problem. Any suggestions?

Most likely an incorrectly formed Date header. Can you post the exact text
of the date header in the message?

I don't see a Date header there. Are you saying that there isn't any?

Brian, I guess I don't know what a date header is. Can you tell me and where
I can find it? Thanks!

It would be in the list of headers you presented. Here's a sample:

Certainly nothing seems wrong with this header. But,

Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6713); Wed, 23 Mar 2005 09:59:31 -0800

Are those binary characters in the second line actually present in the
headers? While I don't KNOW that they's cause trouble (they don't seem to
affect anything else in how the headers are interpreted), perhaps they do.

Do you mean the number 5.0.2195.6713?

We are noticing it is all email coming from co.yakima.wa.us.

No. I said the second line, not the third. I'll be more explicit. This is
what I'm talking about: the first three characters of
