Inbound rules and outbound rules

I am a recent convert to OL2k3.

I have a number of rules setup to guide delivery in Inbound mail to
custom folders. Some look at sender, some look at subject, some look at
other header info. Nothing out of the ordinary, and very similar to what
I used for years in OL2k.

Sometimes, I open a message in a custom folder where a given rule sent
it, and reply. The reply then shows up IN THAT SAME FOLDER, not in Sent
Items where I would expect. I double checked the rule and it clearly
states "when arrives", and I tried deleting the rule and recreating this
rule from scratch, and I get the same thing.

Is this something screwy with my Outlook installation, or is this a
known problem with OL2k3?

What is the setting for "In folders other than Inbox, save replies with
original message" in Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options?

The wrong one. Thank you for the insight, that fixed everything right up.
