inbound emails auto transfers

2003 vs. 2007--when I got inbound emails on 03 they all went to inbox for me
to sort, discard etc. I dont remember choosing some other option when I
installed 07 but now most of my emails go somewhere else and I would like to
get back to what it was and set my own automatic transfers.
 
Where do they "transfer" to? What is different from the two installations
of Outlook 2003 and 2007? What rules do you have active on each computer?
