I do not know what happens since I am a new user in Internet without
previous experience and, even though a have imputed my name and mail
address, the system does not permit me to send messages, showing an error
message mentioning that POP3 or SMTV are not correct servers. This is not
really friendly for new users. Would you please supply any light on it?.
Thank you

Open Windows Mail > look to the top, click HELP > click View Help > click
Windows Mail : setting up an account from start to finish. Follow the
instructions. There are some infos only your ISP ( internet service
provider ) can provide. Call them.
If you still have questions, please post back.

That's correct. Apparently, you entered POP and SMTP as the server names.
There are no servers with those names.

To start, you need to get the server information from your email provider,
often (But not always) your ISP.

You also need to verify that kind of servers they are; POP, IMAP, HTTP, etc,
then create the correct type of account.

Windows Mail does not support HTTP servers.

What will NOT work is making up server names or entering only part of the
information you get from the mail provider.

Google mail has plenty of clearly written information on how to set up your
gmail account with Windows Mail or Outlook Express (the process is nearly
identical).
