Have a document set up in Word to print as two columns. It looks okay in
print preview. It looks okay in print layout view. In normal view, it looks
like only one column.

When I print, it prints only the lefthand column and/or just one line on the
top of the lefthand column. I have no idea how to fix this. Any thoughts are
greatly appreciated

Assuming you have entered enough text to fill the left column and flow into
the right, go to Format | Columns and make sure that the "Equal column
width" box is checked. If not, click on the One button to check it, then
choose Two again. You will always see only one column in Normal view,
though.
