First of all, I have quite a list of viruses I found on my computer, there all unable to be removed, and have been found and contained by an Avast! Antivirus. I am the host of a wireless network, and am afraid that the viruses can spread to the other computers, is that possible? Here is a list of the viruses I have seen so far.

JS: Ezploit-Bytverify-2 x4
JS: ClassLoader-1
Win32: Kuang2
Win95: Matyas x2

Next, my Microsoft Word still has some problem and shuts down after 50 seconds of being used; I have much to do with this and must have it fixed ASAP.

I also detected some bugs in the registry via Ad-aware 6.0 that couldn't be removed a while ago, but when I scanned today to show in this letter it was gone. Is that possible ether?

I must have these problems addressed as soon as possible, help will be gratefully appreciated. If anyone has any information that can help me with this, or needs more detailed information may email me.

Probably not what you wanna hear, but the way it sounds, you would probably
be better off reformatting the drive and starting over and invest in a good
virus scanner, such as Norton's and keep up on your virus definitions! A
couple of what you got are fairly difficult to rid yourself of. Resort to
www.symantec.com to get removal instructions if you wanna attempt to get rid
of them one by one. IF you reformat, make sure to unhook the network
drives, (pull the cable) and then do it, and get your anti-virus with
updated definitions loaded BEFORE you plug the network back in.

And in answer to your other question, yes, you can infect other systems on
the network and most likely they already are. Always follow the rule of
thumb that you NEVER open files unless you KNOW they can be trusted and
always scan those even before you open them!

Good luck!

Doug

Hi Chris,

Most all remnants can be removed. Find the keys via the Symantec, etc
write-ups and do them manually, if a tool isn't offered. For most, you need
to stop the process via the Task Manager, remove the exe's from the System32
folder, rid the entry from Msconfig/Startup, which in turn removes the
runkeys, and so on......

As per Word shutting down in 50 seconds are you sure this doesn't apply to
any application and is the msblaster worm? Either way run:

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Recovery/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Close Windows Explorer, run the edit on line 257 which includes the prompt
for the patch once your system has been cleaned.

This script removes all variants of the W32.Blaster.Worm (original, B, C, D,
E and F) and will inform you whether or not the patch is already installed.
