In folder other than the inbox save replies with original message option

Outlook 2002/2003 "In folder other than the inbox save replies with
original message" option. The saved message's FROM field is empty. once
I drag it to the inbox, the FROM address shows.

I tried this on 2002 and 2003, same issue. Can someone explain why this
is? or is it a bug?

is the from address shown in the view?

The email I was replying is in my personal folder. so after I replied
it I get a copy in the personal folder without a FROM field. Everything
else in the personal folder has FROM address displayed.
