improved performance!

I was using CA EZ antivirus, then removed it and installed new Avast
antivirus beta for RC1.

Vista is much much faster now! :-)
 
Where have you found Avast for RC1 ? The latest I see on their site is 4.7,
adapted for beta 2 but not compatible with RC1.
 
I also removed CA EZ (too heavy..) and installed AVG antivirus (downloaded
from their website). It works fine with RC1 and does not affect Vista
aperformance.

Install 50+ programs (that many of them will also have startups),
that load dlls in the memory, drivers etc....

and you will see that with vista you need a computer that comes from the
future...
A quadruple CPU is needed... 2 of them will be needed to handle all the
crap MS loads... then you will have anohter one working on the other startup
programs...
and you will be left with one to do actual work with!
