impossible to upload

I'm using fp2002 turkish version. I'm trying to update my
site. i use the "publish site" command as usual, but
after typing my password fp closes itself.
Anybody can help ?

1) Can you connect live to the existing site? I have one site that
doesn't accept the password when trying to update, but it does accept
the password when connecting live. After I have connected live, I
close the web on the server, open the web on the HDD and then updating
works. All has to be done within the same FP session.

2) Contact the hoster.
