Importing Word docs to Frontpage

I used to be able to cut and paste Word documents into
Frontpage without a problem. (I think they were both
Win95 versions.)

In Frontpage 2002 under XP, it won't read the Word docs
as HTML but rather with all the embedded Word formatting
doodads like tabs, etc.

I just want to do a simple c'n'p of my written-in-HTML
docs into Frontpage.

Anyone know how?
