My winME computer died after the power supply decided to fry parts of the
mobo including the CPU. I now have a win XP Pro based system and had my
Outlook 2000 outlook.pst file backed up on a CD. I have installed O2000 on
this new machine and imported all the folders but I can't figure out how to
import the rules I used to have. I don't think I ever exported them to a rwz
file.
Are the old rules still in the outlook.pst file and, if so, is there some
way to extract them?

Thanks
Pete

The .rwz file does not reside in the .pst file - however, if you had copied
the files referenced in http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm and then
just opened the .pst file, you would have avoided some of the problems you
are going to find.

Thanks Milly.
My hard drives survived the crash and I'm waiting for a USB IDE adapter so I
can hook them up. Perhaps I can recover the .rwz and other files if they're
still on the hard drive.
