importing OE5 files into Outlook

Whoa, this experience has been so frustrating I NEVER want to upgrade my computer again. Enough whining Eh??? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my OE5 files (*.dbx) into Outlook. I downloaded a program called DbxConv and converted them to *.mbx only to find that Outlook doesn't recognize that suffix. I checked Microsoft online and they say to go to Tools\Options\Maintenance\ and change your store location. I don't have a Maintenance tab under Tools\Options. I must be making this WAYYY to difficult! Any help greatly appreciated

In Outlook Express, click File>Export>Messages. They'll automatically go to
Outlook.
