I want to import some data from excel into new groups that I created within
Outlook Express. However, when doing this the data goes right into the Main
Identity's Contact folder.

I then need to send it to the new group I've created which is fine except I
have several groups that I need to create, and if all the data is going into
that one folder (Main Identity Contacts) how do I know which emails/contacts
to send to which folder.

I can not delete them from the Main Identity Contact folder because it also
removes them from the folder that I sent them to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
