Importing Excel Spreadsheet

Hi,

When importing excel spreadsheets with no field names,
sometimes access imports the table and assigns field
names "Field1", "Field2" etc and other times it assigns
field names as "F1", "F2" etc.

Can this be predefined?

Yes. Use fieldnames! <g>

Not sure about a serious response though.
May be version related.
