Old computer had Win98 and Outlook Express. Bought new p/c with WinXP and
Outlook Express. Exported email addresses to a .wab file from old p/c. But
when I try to import these email addresses to the new Outlook Express, I get
an error message. I installed the old hard drive as a slave on the new p/c
and can see everything but can't access it. So I don't have my mail or any
addresses. Any ideas?

Note: In the old Outlook Express I could see each individual mail folder,
but not in the new.

Try a different group microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general.

Put the WAB file on your hard drive. Right click it and choose Properties.
Uncheck the Read Only box. Now try the import.
