Importing Data Problem

Hi

I have a problem with importing text data. Our accounts structure is 99-99 -
but when I import accounts such as 10-10 or 10-20 Excel thinks these are
dats so loads 10-Oct or 20-Oct for me. Any way I can stop this?

If you open excel first,
then use File|Open to bring in a .Txt file,

you'll see the text to columns wizard where you can specify how each field
should be treated. You'll want to choose text for those fields.

Format the relevant cells as text before you import the data.
