Each day I enter many lines of data into a spreadsheet. Each week I must
summarize this data - a linked spreadsheet achieves this for me easily. Each
month I must summarize the daily data again. The date range is different
however. Each week runs from Monday to Friday, but each month runs from the
26th to the 25th, Saturday & Sundays inclusive. Some dates from the daily
worksheet are not required in the monthly spreadsheet but are required in a
different month summary.
Each month naturally starts on a different day, so I haven't been able to
figure out how to link the data from the daily spreadsheet to the monthly
summary. Linking from the weekly summary would be just as good, if I could
figure out how to do it.
Is there a simple way to link the spreadsheets, without having to redesign
the links each month?
I use excel 2003 in Windows XP
thnx
