Hi
I have a vast amount of data in an excel workbook, and need to export it to
word, but it needs reformatting for display and simplicity purposes.
As the amount of data is very large, doing this by hand will be very time
consuming. Is there a way that I can set up some sort of import condition
within Word that allows me to specify details inside the excel workbook that
allows for correct displaying and formatting of the data inside Word quickly
and easily?
Any help will be appreciated.

Are you able to apply something of the formatting you need while the data is
in Excel? One method is to add column, while the data is still in Excel,
with some kind of style tag. Then in Word search for the style tags and set
the paragraph styles accordingly.

I could try that, but the formatting is quite complicated, and involves
drawing boxes round data, and organising them in a certain fashion down the
page.
I have tried doing it by hand and have so far been ok with formatting it as
I go along, copying and pasting similar parts and changing only the data and
not the formatting.
Thank you for your answer anyway, Jezebel.
Shafiq.
