Yes, it is possible. The method depends on what the other database
actually is; if it's a file formatfor which there is an ODBC driver, you
can import directly, or link. Otherwise, you will need to export from
the other database to a text (flat or delimited) file, and then import
into Access, or link the text file.
Just to expand on the last post, if you are on a version of Access before
2007, go to File - Get External Data - Import (or Link) and pick the file
type and location.
In Access 2007, it is just External Data and then pick the file type.

I've picked up a problem at this exact point; If I select DDBC file to link
(or import), the "Select Data Source" dialog box should appear - but does
not. All others are ok. I suspect that I have corrupted or replaced a
library somewhere, somehow. PLEASE, I hope you can assist me in this!
