Hi,

My old computer went toes up two weeks ago and my local computer shop
was only able to save the data files from Outlook 2003 and my My
documents folder.

My new computer has been delivered and install last week. I have been
using the new computer since it was installed and just received the CD
with the data files from my old computer. Now I would like to import the
data files from my old computer to my new computer.

The question is, when I import the data from my old computer will the
import delete the e-mails that I already have in my "Inbox" as of 22
October 2004 and the appoints I already have in my calendar? Or, will it
just add to it?

Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Importing is not the best way to handle this data. Just open the PST file in
Outlook so you can retain full control of what you copy into your current
installation.

Like Russ said. ALso be aware that you will need to copy your PST to your
hard drive and remove the read-only attribute before you'll be able to open
it in Outlook.
