After exporting a file using csv format, I am unable to
open it in Excel 2002 if the file is stored on my network
drive. However, if I store the same file on my local
drive, it is automatically imported upon opening the file.

Thoughts? Anyone?

When you say "..unable to open..", what exactly do you mean?
i.e. do you get an error message or...?

Are you able to open the file if it's saved as a regular Excel file? It's
important to know if this is an Excel issue or a network issue. While Excel
may not be perfect, in these cases, it nearly ALWAYS seems to be a network
issue - even when people think it isn't at first. By this I mean that folks
say "but I can write to that network drive with no problem," but that isn't
enough.

when you say you're unable to open it, is it even there? Does Excel not
recognize the format? Or just can't find the file? Do you get an error on
save?
