Importing contacts, calendar, etc.

I would like to know how to export my information and contacts from Day-Timer
Sharp Edition 1999 v4.90 and then import them in to Outlook 2003

No need to ask more than once.

Export them from Day-Timer in a format that Outlook can import. You'll have
to examine those options in each program in order to decide what format to
use. CSV is often a common format.
 
I understand that I need to export in a format that is recognized by Outlook,
but the only options I see to export from Day-Timer is ASCII or it exports
to a sharp.exp file which is not recognised by any programs on my computer
and niether of the two are listed on the import options in Outlook. Plus
when I try to export to an ASCII format it appears that it is only exporting
the schedule. Thanks

Thanks, but I've been there and sent an E-Mail to Day-Timer support, they
responded by sending me to a Microsoft Outlook page, which is how I ended up
posting my question on this board. Round and around.

And what "Outlook page" did they cite?

Since DayTimer seems to have a program to do it, they're the best source.
Did you follow the instructions on their web page (i.e., send a message to
(e-mail address removed) with the word "Transfer" in the subject? I did, but
after 30 minutes had not received a reply, supposedly automated.

The obvious solution is to use whatever format that the two programs have in
common. If the only two formats DayTimer supports are text and the EXP
file, the answer seems that you'll have to use text.
 
Thanks for your effort, but if you read through our past correspondence,
you'll see that you're telling me what I already know or have done.

It's now been almost 18 hours and I still haven't received a reply from
their "automatic" responder.
 
Are you not reading what I'm writing? Yes I sent a message to support with
the word transfer in the subject and they sent the link I showed you earlier
that redirtects me to the non helpful Outlook site. End of subject. You're
not helping by restating the obvious and what I've already tried.
