What I did was copy all the addresses on to a memory stick and when I copied
them on to my new computer, they went straight into Windows Mail contacts.
There must be an easier way but at least this way worked.

How do you import addresses from outlook express? Help!!

From Outlook or from Outlook Express? They aren't the same
program.

From Outlook, you have two choices: 1. Install Outlook, preferably
version 2003 or later, on your new computer. Windows Mail needs
to use a part of it to be able to import directly from Outlook.
2. Import first from Outlook to Outlook Express on your old
computer. Then import from Outlook Express to Windows Mail.

The .dbx files contain the messages; the .wab file contains the addresses
in the Contacts list. After you copy the files to a directory on your new
computer, but before you import them into Windows Mail, make sure
the copies are read-write instead of readonly
