-IMPORTANT- saving project as WMV doesn't work

when i try to save movie file it gives me a error message that says:

"Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the origional source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again.

I have gone through every video file in my project and fixed a few problems, but it still says this when i try to save the movie file. please help.
 
There's a number of things that might be the issue. See the Problem Solving

Be sure to check the QASF.DLL file version
