Recently I got a Trojan on my computer. This message
keeps popping up.

Virus
Trojan horse Dropper.Small.6.L

is found in file

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{B2AF817B-3411-4977-
A6C4-FBAE76E571D}\RP74\A0006115.exe

To remove this virus, please run AVG for Windows.

I run AVG for Windows and it does not detect anything. I
did a search for the file, but with no luck. When I type
in the file and hit Search, I get this message.

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{B2AF817B-3411-4977-
A6C4-FBAE76E571D}\RP74\A0006115.exe refers to a location
that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this
computer, or on a network. Check the makre sure that the
disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to
the Internet or your network, and try again. If it still
cannot be located, the information might have been moved
to a different location.

I have checked my computer over and everything is
inserted properly. I have even tried connecting to the
Internet to delete this file. Nothing seems to work and
my computer has been slower than usual. How can I get
rid of this Trojan??

Apparently, that virus file is residing in your System Restore folder.
To remove that virus file, you'll have to turn-off System Restore,
reboot, then turn it back on.

Go to the Control Panel and double click on the "System" icon. Click
the System Restore tab on the System Properties page and check the box
that says "Turn off system restore".
