My computer was running fine till I installed SP2 Which then started
causing all sorts of problems booting , giving me the Blue screen error
STOP: 0x0000007B
After looking into this it was found that the chipset on your
motherboard may not be compatible with my new drivers... Meaning that
the Biostar MB I had which was the U8788 Model worked fine with the
original drivers but then the New IDE Drivers messed up my system. I
reinstalled old drivers and eveything seemd fine now. I no longer
upgrade windows. if it works, don't mess with it.

If you don't want windows update to change your drivers
Go to system properties --> hardware
Find a box that says "windows update."
On the box
"Connect to windows update"
Check the option that reads
"Never search Windows Update for drivers"

Did that already. I wonder what Longhorn has in store for the
community? how many applications will run into problems?
