import messages

I am trying to transfer my outlook messages, from an microsoft '95 version
into XP 2002 on a different machine. They were stored as .msg files on
floppy disks and show up as Outlook items but the import file instruction
doesn't work.
Is there any way to force Outlook to read these files into the Inbox?
 
If you double click on one does it open in an Outlook form? You may be able
to save them individually.

Drag them from WIndows Explorer into the Outlook Inbox.
