While importing mail from Outlook Express into Outlook 2003, the date of some
of the mail has been changed by the "Import" process to the "Import" date
instead of the original date.
Could somebody assist me in solving the problem?

Yes. Don't import from OE within Outlook - export to Outlook from within
Outlook Express/

If I understand correctly, I install my Outlook 2003, load up my OE-6 and
export my e-mail and use that? Do I then uninstall OE6 after all my settings
work?

Yes, export from OE... but don't uninstall it. They share some files. you
can remove the email account from OE.

After you've created your mail profile, start Outlook Express and click
File>Export>Messages to send your OE message data to Outlook.

It didn't quite work that way, but it has been accomplished. Just need to
kick back and make sure that everything transfered over
