Hi

I just bought a new laptop, and it comes with Windows E-mail. I am able to
set up account, and import address book (with WAB extension). However, I
am not able to import messages which I know are in my thumb-drive. I can
see them on the F drive contents in my old laptop, not in the new import
dialogue box. Can you help? Thanks

Hi, Lee How Sheng.

You have to have permission (or ownership) to see messages in that folder.
Simply being an Administrator is not enough.

Lots of us have had that problem. Some have solved it by taking ownership
of the existing folder. Others have copied the OE .dbx files (including the
key Folders.dbx) to a new folder that can be accessed from Vista.

If you scan messages here, you should find this discussed many times.
